Shokoku-ji
相国寺
A large Rinzai Zen temple north of the Imperial Palace, head of the school that also runs Kinkaku-ji and Ginkaku-ji. Its Dharma Hall, rebuilt in 1605, is the oldest surviving one in Japan and has a dragon painted on its ceiling by Kano Mitsunobu.
