Francois Coffee House

フランソア喫茶室

A coffee house opened in 1934 beside the Takase canal south of Shijo, with an Italian Baroque style interior modelled on the hall of an ocean liner. In 2003 it became the first coffee house registered as a Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
